Jesus fucking Christ, I didn't even know that they had reunited ...
Is there actually any band left from that period, that doesn't roam the earth as a bunch of zombies?

Also, the whole "bigger they are, the harder they fall" saying seriously applies here. It's hard to believe that a band that was once this great exists as a literally Hollywood-ized version of their old selves now.

Damn, this sounds way better than any version I've ever heard before! Pure greatness. Not much one can say about a band of this magnitude.

Everything through the first LP (High Vaultage re-release as well,) which was a prime example of DIY metal, is excellent. Their vocalist was doing a better Robert Plant than Robert Plant was doing himself by the end of the 70s. Borrowed Time is a major step down in my opinion, and Canterbury is just plain awful. There aren't many metal bands around now whose lyrics consist mostly of songs about playing music and having fun, which is a real shame.

I found some good quality footage of the band in their prime:

Helpless: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdqwR0ISPDE

Streets of Gold: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuejL6m_mlM&feature=related

Yes, that one. You should have bought it! It's got among others the Middle Class, DAF, and a kid punk band named the Stupid Babies on it. All three Earcom samplers are great! Found this link on the Internet: http://dieordiy.blogspot.com/2009/11/various-earcom-1-2-3-fast-product-1979.html. You can even download them at the end of the page...
