As a Librarian, I felt it was my duty to order this book for the Library I am at. The book should be coming in any day.
I try to bring cool and interesting things into the Library to educate the kiddies.

sorry Admin i should have worded that better by here i meant the “BEWARE” 12″ not that you had taken the tracks from the “Static Age” cd (as Jochen said).

you are correct about the tracks being the same versions as on both 7 inch’s.i think the story is that the band didn’t release the LP for whatever reason but they used four tracks for the “Bullet” ep, meaning the original “Bullet” ep is four tracks from the then unreleased “Static Age” recording session.

hopefully that made sense and again sorry for any confusion.

I have the 2×7″ bootleg of Static Age with the two previously unreleased fucking unbelievable tracks, “Fake” and “Bored Stiff” and the extended version of “Bullet”. I believe there were only 100 released on splatter green vinyl with the much rarer Dutch sleeve on This Is Bullshit Records. It’s up for trade to anyone that has the first pressing of the soundtrack for “Saturday Night Fever”.

actually i did notice that the first song only came out of the left speaker but for some weird reason i just thought it was recorded like that. don’t know why i thought that. great ep by the way. the song overkill is just great.

I will compare the songs with the “Bullet” versions. I have never heard “Static Age” and until now, I was under the impression these are the exact same versions as on the two 7″s.

He’s not talking about where you ripped the songs, but what the Misfits did with their recordings: Since the Misfits didn’t release the material from the static age recording sessions as an LP (as they had intended to do), they released part of it on other discs – on the bullet 7″ and the beware 12″. Making the direct comparison between beware and static age one notices indeed that those are the exact same versions.
