It’s genius, the bassline is reminiscent of Joy Division and the electric guitar sound reminds me of The Swell Maps. The lyrics are great, Starvation Dance is a masterpiece.

Great band,however I think this is their weakest release in my opinion, but still mandatory listening. I actually had it in the cue to go up on my blog, but you just beat me to it. Erich, check my blog I threw up a little something today that I think you might find of interest.

Hmmm maybe Joy Division is the key here. I listened to the EP on Peters blog and it sounded like a different band. But I like both EPs. This one is a good break from Erichs constant musical brutality he forces on us.

Yeah ’tis a pretty underrated platter, but its soooo easy to get snowed in under the sheer amazingness of their studio output. What a band!
