This ep is flat out killer. The recording is so much better than the other “third phase” ep’s. While Archaic is good, this is better to and for my ears. Great cover song idea, and cover art too.

The first track delivers the high standard I’ve came to expect from RP. The second track made me fall asleep. The song is just too simple. Nothing wrong with that but it’s even generic. And not delivered with enthusiasm.

I will not say that they have lost it. RP have always held a very high standard with the exception of Pope Adrian. So you could say that one have been spoiled rotten. This is not their best effort though but I like it, even the Doodle bit, maybe because itÂ´s so uncharacteristic for them. Great song while youÂ´re driving. I was a tad disappointed by the art, though.

What’s not to like about the second track? Rudimentary Peni are my favourite band ever. They make you thnk and investigate areas that you have never hear of. How many have now read H.P. Lovecraft? I had never heard of him till RP.

Thanks for the preview. Both tracks are ok, frantic! But the 1st has better vox. I’ve always had a soft spot in my brain for the penis. The early stuff is so deliciously demented and the sleeves are eye-catching to say the least. Now to find a vinyl copy in the usa…
