Man that SVDB song is hot, Id only ever heard the track on We Got Power though it tends to get buried amongst the plethora of hits on it. If you ever get the chance you should upload the BOS- Second Coming 7″ that Doug Moody put out, the version of the title track on it is the hardest song to come outta California ever. Keep up the great work.

Sound of Hollywood was a series and Destroy LA was a short lived fanzine.

Saw SVDB record their track for the We Got Power comp. They recorded right before Hated Principles at the same studio.

Actually, the lead singer of SVDB was the original lead singer of DR Know (Brandon Cruz). That song is also on the COPulation comp.

Grrreat Peter – here we go with yet another SVDB song. I have that comp too, but never paid too much attention to single bands on it, hahaha. It’s one of these “put them on and let it flow” things. Except for the Dr. Know song maybe that kills me each time I hear it.

SVDB has always been one of them comp bands that I wished released a sole release. Their Flames of Hell on We Got Power is a smasher too. Both bands rock here but SVDB is a little bit hotter.

Oh, very good! I didn’t check all my Mystic comps, but yeah, sure have that one. I could sing “Your friendly local Police” anytime, a wonderful song, though not as super-duper as the one here. Cheers!

SVDB was also on Mystic Sampler #1 and it is another great song called “Your Friendly Local Police”–it is the opening track on the LP. I think that particular comp was reissued but I still have my vinyl if you’re desperate to hear it.

yes sir that what we wanna hear! never cared enough to buy this but now i realize i better get it. svdb is shit hot! bos were the best live band i ever seen. i remember one particular fight that broke out during their set (in some backyard) which soon turned into one huge riot.
