Sozz and later the Hungry for What guys were members of an arrogant Punk (?) cliche gang?
Nope, they were a bunch of nice & friendly Swiss boyz, saw them back in 1985 together with Chelsea in Frankfurt/Main in Germany. As far as I remember, they played a Sozz tune, too.
In 1986 I saw them once again together with Chin Chin in a little club in Hamburg.
Clash Rip Off? Come on, who cares…, if the music is just G-R-E-A-T!

I remember Herr Sonderegger exactly that way, it’s really a very wonderful description, thank you for that. You should have made him the headline, not The Sozz, although I love them very much, they were just the coolest band around, although they were so hated. They called themselves Hungry For What then, but it was mainly the same personal, that is the Maeschi Brothers, geniuses, BTW.

how great it sounds, when swiss punker is singing in english I think, sound is too professional…I have PUHDYS computer karriere LP 1982 in my collection and there are not a lot differences between these both records

No, it’s great ! Love the corny background vocals ! Hurrah for Swiss punx ! In my opinion, the second 7″ sounds more like SLF than like the Clash… But it’s a matter of opinion.
