I was the Drummer in Napalm and I can asure you that none of us had the pleasure of playing in, or not even with Napalm Death from England at any time... Two totaly different Bands... (Different countrys at all) "Tolle" was a piss take on a, at that time quite well known Teddy Boy hard knock called Kai Leng. We where all like 15 or 16 jears old and there where those grown up fat construction worker type Rock´n Rollers hunting us down in City Center Hamburg to kick the shit out of us. Quite terrifying. So we had to take it with a laugh, and when we played that one live it was more like "Fuck you, we ain´t scared of you.... fat bastards" This single was indeed an act of bravery.. not a failed attempt to sound like fuck´n jerry lee lewis. When Kai Leng found out he apparently went barmy...... So, now you know.... Hallo all,
