Good Stuff. I’ve owned all those records from when they came out. I still have them packed away, dual copies of Not so Humdrum etc all numbered!! Back in the day I was trudging around the pubs like Strawberry Hills and The Sussex, Hopetoun Hotel, The Vulcan…etc…I took photos of some bands from back then with Alec Smart who was with a number of bands like The Undertakers and off shoot from ex Kelpies etc…also Mick Flipper played too with the lads.

ah interesting ..i have this flowers from the dustbin lp as well as box of fish – slap em around the gills. exploding white mice first lp. arm the insane 45′s also old vicious circle lps, depression, gash …great band. hoot mc cloot, twenty second sect etc.

I was lucky enough to get all 3 compilations from aberrant on lp when they first came out. (flowers in the dustbin, not so humdrum and why march when you can riot)Good to see they’re still being looked for. priceless aussie stuff

Andy from Box of Fish has put out a comp of the bands material on cd Sex Cat Killer 7” , Slap Em Around the Gills mlp , the ‘Flowers’ tracks and a couple of early demo’s.
There is a Queen Anne’s Revenge live Civic show around Jan 1983 or 82 , sound quality is pretty ordinary…also CHAOS live at Woy Woy hotel and a 5 track demo tape from Axent studio’s Kogarah of Q.A.R including Do the Pog + Smog sound quality is great.

As for the vocal style of Mark + Kevin Q.A.R / C.H.A.O.S 2 different styles , that you cant really compare – Mark was more british punk sounding while Kev was more aussie aggro.

Kev’s still in BLackown and Colin in tassie.
