Sorry bout the missing cover photos – when I migrated the blog from blogspot.com to my new host, all the scan & photo links broke and needed to be manually relinked. It’s a shitload of work to get that back working and I’ve never really come around doing it.

Well… remembering the old days.. i used to play bass for Contrazione in the first line-up. i remember playing right before DISORDER in Bologna in 1982(or was it 83?!?) in front of a very big crowd(the same afternoon there had been a demonstration with some tensions with the police…as usual…so people were very excited by the time we played).
don’t think we ended the gig, because people started throwing stuff to us(we wern’t very loud and fast)and it all ended up in a contained fight…anyway
it was fun….

The mini-LP “Cine occhio â€“ storia e memoriaâ€ (1985 blubus autoproduzioni) is great. I think it was better than the more traditional punk stuff that they did and I still play it 20 years later. I think some members of Contrazione (Gianpiero?) went on to be come Kina and then Frontiera
