AGENT ORANGE Your Mother sucks Cocks in Hell 7"EP (Graaf Hendrick Records, Holland, 1983)

AgentOrange_frontAgentOrange_backHolland’s AGENT ORANGE blast off with full force, unleashing a red hot blend of HC with Metal licks. The song that makes me wanna dance around naked is “Lingerie”; now if that ain’t ironic.
Ever since I saw this pictured on Poison Idea’s “Record collectors” 12″, I was after it but it took me ten years until I finally found it. The follow up to this, another 7 incher with the strange title “VD – Hello Boyfriend, coming my Way?”, has more of the same and the band’s other hit “Kill the Police” (you can find it here). It’s essential too if you like ferocious steamroller HC with dumb lyrics and imagery. Unfortunately this babe had no lyric sheet included, so we might never know what AGENT ORANGE sang in “Feminist”. You know my rule of thumb: Nice people make nice music, but it takes a bunch of idiots to make a great HC burner. This proves it, I think.
500 (300?) made. Hard to find – get it when you see it. And no, I ain’t got no clue whether this has been re-released or not.

Both these singles, and all recordings from their previous band “Jesus and the Gospelfuckers” was released on a split LP on Kangaroo records. See my post on 7inckpunk for more details. Dutch punk and hardcore rules!

And yes – the JESUS AND THE GOSPEL FUCKERS tapes are marvellous. Haven’t heard the LP though. Weren’t GENOCIDE EXPRESS active after AGENT ORANGE? “Cleanse the Bacteria” came out in 1985.

Those Genocide Express tracks were recorded in 1983, it’s a couple of members of Agent Orange + Tos N. (Gospelfxxxers/ Funeral Oration/ God), I don’t think they ever played live.
I still have to hear that legendary Gospelfuckers tape; rumour has it the band had a big fight and broke up while recording it!
