Black Metal Foucault.
On this famous picture, Michel Foucault is explaining why Black Metal works best without an interpreter. The photo was taken at the Collège de France.

Now that I finally got my new Interface, I decided to improve things a little here. Instead of encoding the mp3 files with 192 kb/s I decided to go for 224 kb/s. Did some testing last night, on both headphones and stereo and the better encoding does the often fuzzy and distorted sounds of good bad music more justice.
Those who listen closely will hear a background hum in the latest rips I did with my old shit interface. The new one (M-Audio Audiophile) was really worth the money (thanks Jordan for all the info and time!). It seems like a wise decision to try and make vinyl rips as good as you can; after all a lot of work is put into that and the files find very wide distribution in no time.

I’m also thinking of including lyric sheets and label shots but I don’t know if it’s really worth the extra work.

Also, I implemented a socalled “shoutbox”. You may use it for suggestions, requests. I normally wouldn’t follow orders but sometimes a little inspriation eases the transpiration.
