We are back together. Ready for 2012. Matt V, did you see Franco's post up there? So stoked to see people still like it. We were teenagers teaching ourselves how to play and writing shit about what we were going through. We sound better now that the drug issues are gone. Thanks for the kind words from Brazil. See you out at the shows hopefully.

I want to thank all of you for your comments good and bad. I was the first original guitarist that started Dissension back in 1984.It was Me on guitar, My brother Kelly Vargas on drums, Randy Freeman on bass and Matt Franco on vocals. We then got Mike Cherico from Target of Demand On second Guitar not to long after that. I was not on the "Why work for death?" recording due to differences with the bass player. But those were most of my songs and I played alot of shows after our bass player fell out of the scene. I went to record "we the Fooled" and we had a few more bass players for far to many shows in the future. We went on tour Back in 1988 all the way to new york. What a blast. But we kind of went our seperate ways after playing together for so long. We put the band back together a few years ago with Jason wesfall singing and played a few shows, but sadley drugs had taken a toll on some the band again. So we went our seperate ways again. I'm 42 now with a wife and kids and I still play in bands to this day. I want to start Dissension back up again But who knows when that will be. Thanks for putting this out so people can listen to the old Long Beach hardcore again. This was from the depths of Long Beach.

Hey Peter,

I'd love to get my hands on this record. I was the singer on this record and had my crates of records stolen from my house. Unfortunately my Dissension records were amongst the records stolen. Write back if you still have it, and how and what I need to get it from you. Thanks!
