On the b-side of this slab, you’ll find two songs mixed onto one channel. On the left, you’ll hear two songs: First off “Give me nuclear Power”, followed by “I don’t wanna hold your Hand (I just wanna beat you up)”. Simultaneously, the right channel plays what’s described as: “ART gets thrown off the Stage while playing for the Yippies”.
ART was Mykel Board’s project. They put out 2 7″s and an LP, then the band morphed into ARTLESS which weren’t half as good but had a whole bunch of releases. Mykel Board was notorious for his provocative rantings in his monthly MRR column “You’re wrong”. He basically tried (successfully) to piss off every- and anybody, his main target being liberals and conservatives while giving the left- and right-extremists shit at the same time. It was funny until it wasn’t. By the end of the 80s I for my part got a bit tired with it. This record on the other hand is timeless. It makes me shit my pants. “We’re all boat people” – ’nuff said!

Thanks for putting this up. I guess it might lose me a few cents from itunes, but this version is actually more complete than the one on itunes.
For complete-ists, there is an ART tune on the YOU’LL HATE THIS RECORD RECORD, as well as one of two tunes on a split 7″ with GG Allin.

I had a college radio show in the 80′s called, Scheduled Fallout”… the most requested song we ever played was Funny People with ugly Hairdos. The link is broken. I would love to hear it again. Any way that you can get it back up?
