i asked them to send some details and i will try and get the local radio to give it a blast(shmufm) the guy on a saturday afternoon plays some good stuff ,pete the punk.you might like to have a listen to his show online.

Hmm… Looking at the Ratistas I can now see a familiar face.
The guitarist is one Billy Collins and played with the Urbans after Mac left.
This explains where the UE myspace page came from!
Think I have to go wind up an old mate now ;o)

Hi Billy, The urbans split not that long after the ha ha sessions I think, some of us were getting more into magazine, wire, eno than the way punk was going.
Strangly enough i was trying to find this site again (try to remember Ctrl D doh!) and I came across this!

anyway can u remember if the urbans had split before or after haha was released?,and was it ever featured on john peels show.

im getting good at muchin free music .
im working with a turner fae airdrie,and i was telling him about the conversation on the net .so he said his cousin was in a band called big dish,and that they broke up blah blah.but he was still recording solo stuff and also painting.low and behold the next night he gave me a cd(kite)by steven lindsay,and you’ll like this bit he phones his cousin up and he says what you up to,and he says ive just finished playing golf with loyd cole

Not quite as of yet Billy but itâ€™s getting there. Probably a few months away from some finished stuff.
